(=) THY YK Başkanı’ndan açıklamalar Gazetelerde çıkan haberlere göre Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı İlker Aycı, THY’nin Boeing ile tazminat görüşmelerinin devam ettiğini belirtti. Farklı tazminat yöntemlerinin konuşulduğu belirtilirken, Boeing MAX-737 yasağının uzaması durumunda şirketin farklı planları olduğunu da belirtti. Ayrıca yapılan açıklamada İstanbul’daki otelin satılmasının planladığı ve yabancı ilgisinin olduğu da belirtildi. Açıklamalar otel satışı dışında geçmiş açıklamalara paralel görünüyor. Bu nedenle hisse etkisinin sınırlı olmasını bekliyoruz.
(=) Statements from THY Chairman Ilkey Ayci According to his statements on an interview with Milliyet Daily News, THY is in talks with Boeing for compensation over the grounding of 737 MAX aircrafts in the fleet. He stated that there are alternative compensation forms such as cash payments, free of charge spare parts and training while the cash payment is considered as the most realistic solution. In the interview, he also stated that the company has alternative plans if the ban of Boeing 737-MAXs is not lifted. Lastly, he told that the company plans to sell it luxury hotel in Istanbul while the foreign investors are interested in the property. All statements except property sale are in line with the previous ones while any cash compensation from Boeing will be welcomed by the market. We deem all statements to be neutral at this stage.
